Use your cooling system to heat your UTV's cab! From the original designer of the Firestorm UTV Cab Heaters comes our new and improved Ice Crusher Compact UTV Heaters. What makes our heaters better, if not the best, is that you are dealing with the designer/manufacturer and most of the kits have been installed by us and fitment checked. We use modern automotive quality vents- not something that looks like it was made in the 50's. They match the modern styling of your UTV. Most of out kits use custom made solid CNC machined Y connection fittings, so there is no chance of leaking welds. We endeavor to use quality parts and hardware in all our kits.
This Ice Crusher Under Dash Heater kit has 5 Vents and fits completely under the dash/hood area behind the glove box leaving the glove box is still usable. This kit comes with a compact yet powerful heater with a three speed fan which will deliver heat from the 14,600 BTU* Compact Heater Unit. Kit includes in-cab heat controller. Modern automotive quality adjustable vents direct the heat were you need it. One vent mounts on top of the dash to defrost the windshield, and two 3” vents and two 2” mount in the center dash panel. A unique feature of our kit is that the heater intake comes from inside the cab were the air is cleaner and warmer. Warmer air means more available heat for you inside the cab. Kits are supplied with our custom CNC made alloy Y connector and fittings that connect directly to the engines cooling system for fast heat (we recommend the use of the MaxStat for the 825i and 855D Models). Kits also include custom CNC laser cut mounting brackets, heater hoses and duct hoses, hose clamps, new and improved vents, hole saws (for the heater hoses and vents), grommets, switch, wiring loom and terminals, templates, your specific mounting bracket with hardware, and instructions.
*Heater BTU# output is theoretical and is dependent on the coolant temperature of the UTV and the flow rate of the coolant, which varies by UTV and engine RPM. Outside (ambient) temperature the UTV is being operated in also can change heater output. That being said these 14,600 BTU Heater Units are more that capable of heating 99.99% of all UTV's
#British Thermal Unit (BTU or Btu) is a traditional unit of work needed to raise the temperature of one pound of water by one degree Fahrenheit. One four-inch wooden kitchen match consumed completely generates approximately 1 BTU.

Shipping is FREE for the lower 48 States. For Canadian provinces that border the USA, there is a $30 per heater kit charge, and for non-bordering provinces, the fee is $50 per heater kit. Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase and are subject to a 10% restocking fee. The customer is responsible to pay return shipping and the item must be returned in a new condition to receive a refund.

This Heater was shipped in good time frame. The heater was described exact. The only problem was the instructions manual needs to be updated for an 825M Gator which made it a little difficult to Know where some things went.

HOT HOT HOT, But install was frustrating
Works amazing! with the special Thermostat fitting this blows hot air shortly after you start driving. I have no cab or doors, and it produces enough heat to keep me comfortable in 35-40 degree weather. Install instructions are so scrambled its easier to go by pictures and figure it out by yourself. Definitely needs re written/revamped. Wasted time by doing one step only to have to undo it to perform the next couple steps. Eventually i got frustrated and went by pictures and figured it out. Besides the scrambled instructions it was relatively easy to install. I opted to route both hoses back to the engine, So much easier in my opinion. No need to drain the full system if you clamp the hoses before you cut. This way no need to remove the radiator fan either. Bleeding was simple this way as well as you didn't have extra air everywhere. 5 Stars for function...but install was frustrating, so 4 stars.

John Deere 825i ice crusher
Ice crusher cab heater has been installed in gator for about 3 weeks now and is functioning well producing lots of hot air. Would have given five stars but the installation instructions/pictures were lacking in a few areas “glove box trimming, radiator hose routing, radiator fan removal”. Installation takes quite a bit of time, and make sure you have an extra set of hands around to help out. Pay particular attention to the heater hose routing to the radiator. I installed without the max stat and heater works well once up to temp. Very nice to finally have heat in the gator cab!!

855D John Deere
Good product, looks good installed but limited room on the diesel for the maxstat, would be nice to have two defroster ducts but room is very limited for that. Overall satisfied and definitely looks better than Deeres version

Just finishing up on the install in my JD 825i Gator, it was a challenge but everything fit well, all of the parts where there and its a very nice kit looks better than factory, I'll buy one again.

2016 Gator 825i with max stat
Installed this on my 2016 john deere gator 825i one week ago. My mechanical skills are above average. This took me 2 days to install. Was pretty hard but instructions were extremely helpful. A couple of the areas where work needs to be performed are very hard to reach and work in. Would have liked to have a little extra duct hose and possible heavier duty duct hose. Could see this as a weak area. Aside from hard to reach areas (john deeres fault) this is a really nice product. Looks great and works great. Such a better looking option than any other heater out there. Installs right in the middle console and uses up zero space that you need. Love it.
