Nice and warm now in Montana!!
Ordered the Ice Crusher with the MaxStat option for my 2014 Honda Pioneer 700. Took my time installing it, a few hours a day for several days so there would be no mistakes. The instructions were fairly easy to follow and good illustrations were included. It works great!! the only drawback I can think of is that it takes a while for the warm coolant to reach the heater core, but, that may just be my machine. All I need to do now is try to seal up all the gaps in the cab to prevent cold air from entering. Sure wish someone offered a kit to seal all the shifter openings! Overall, I'm very happy with this heater and would recommend it to anyone who is thinking about purchasing a unit for their UTV.

honda pioneer 700-4
before installation I checked youtube and did some research most utv installations that connected coolant lines to the radiator failed to produce enough heat this heater came equipped with these instructions and not enough heater hose to connect to oil cooler where they should be installed, so I had to purchase 15 feet of extra 3/4 inch heater hose and two 90 degree 3/4 to 5/8 adapters any little kink in cooler lines and they would cut off coolant flow. hooking the heater coolant lines in series rather than in parallel works excellent although heater blows hot air if it is cold outside say -20 Celsius cab in my Honda has to be sealed a job I have yet to do. overall I am pleased with my ice crusher heater installation took me over the course of three days a couple hours each day. Coupers Products Response: Thank you for the review. I appreciate what you say re the radiator verses the oil cooler lines. The issue with connecting to the oil cooler lines in some cases you can actually make the engine run too cold which can make the fuel system go rich, over fueling the engine washing the cylinder bores causing a lack of lubrication in turn engine problems. So that is why we play it safe a connect to radiator lines and offer the MaxStat which when the engine thermostat is open will give you plenty of heat.
