This inline thermostat did the job I needed it to do just perfect. While I did not use it for which it was designed I did use it on a engine that did not have a thermostat and it also had the 3/4 inlets which is hard to find. I am very happy with this product. The only think I did not see was the options to purchase different temp thermostats.

Maxstat has really helped my 2019 Yamaha Wolverine X2 factory heater. Where as before the coolant temp could never get hot because the coolant was going through the heater core and radiator thus keeping the machine at about 160 degrees while heater was on. Now with the Maxstat the coolant temp stays around 170 -180 degrees depending on the outside air temp. 10 degrees might not sound like much until you try pulling heat from it.I am satisfied with this purchase. As for the design of this unit I do have a couple issues.The heater hose barb doesn't really have a lot to thread into and you have to be careful when tightening as to not strip it out,especially with tape on it. I had to pull mine off a couple times and tighten more and more until it quit leaking(antifreeze bath each time). The other was lining up the thermostat bleed hole with the heater hose outlet hole. That took the longest because you have to set the thermostat at a point that when you tighten it,it spins in the housing.All in all it did help the heater out a lot.

Works as it should and easy to install. Was definitely a difference as far as getting high coolant volume to the heater

Recently purchased ice crusher heater and installed in 2017 general. Very nice product well-made. Instructions could use a little bit of refinement on installation. Didn’t buy Max that thermostat originally wasn’t getting performance so desired. ordered Max that thermostat now working as advertised and very pleased.

We are a Yamaha dealer and have installed 4 maxstats and it is by far the best product we have found to put out the best heat. We have tried other products/ideas to get the heater hot and non of them work as well or are as easy to install/user friendly. Recommend for anybody struggling to get heat out of their heater. Works great!!

I wish I could give a review on the but we bought the ice crusher heater and ordered the bypass thinking we would need it. We found out that the way the side by side was set up we would get the maximum output of heat without installing the bypass I have to say the heater is AWESOME and had we needed the bypass I am sure it would be awesome too.
